What song inspires you to keep fighting no matter how dead you are inside?

Welcome, recruits! The PFM Revolution needs an anthem! Simply answer the question at the top of this post and submit to us.

At 4pm EST the official song of the Revolution will be announced. If you submitted it, you’ll receive a signed copy of Please Fire Me: Posts from the Revolting Workplace.

Submit to the PFM Tumblr! Post songs to the PFM Facebook! Tweet songs @PleaseFireMe! Just don’t mail anything in. The PFM Revolution has no address—our past three meetings have been held in a trophy store.

Only the lamest parties don’t have music, and this is no lame party: this is a revolutionary party. The festivities culminate on May 6th on #PleaseFireMeFriday, when you walk out from work at lunch and boogey down with your (previously) downtrodden malemployees.

At 5pm (all time zones), before you recruits log out and wrap up your day of malemployment, play the song loudly at your desk. React as if no song were playing at all. Stay strong. Let the song play through until it’s finished. After all, the revolution has only just begun. If anyone asks why: Recruit them.
