Two Weeks’ Notice:

The PFM Anthem: “Get Over It” By OK Go

Thank you for all your enthusiastic responses! You guys are the best revolution we could ever ask for. OK, so we’re going to go with OK Go.

This song has several advantages: it starts off with a bang, it’s got the right message (as in we’re going to get up and over this mountain of BS) and your boss probably doesn’t know it. Confusion is our weapon, and playing classic rock might be mistaken for sharing an interest with your boss.

At 5pm (all time zones)—before you recruits log out and wrap up your day of malemployment—play the song LOUDLY at your desk. React as if no song were playing at all. Stay strong. Let the song play through until it’s finished. After all, the revolution has only just begun. If anyone asks why: Recruit them.

Congrats to today’s winning revolutionary. We’ll be getting in touch with you about your signed copy of Please Fire Me: Posts from the Revolting Workplace momentarily. If you did not win today, do not worry: there will be more revolting and winning to be done tomorrow.

Finally, recruits, if you can, send us some footage of your office playing the song, and we’ll post it on the website!
