Self Tan should ideally be left to develop between 4 to 8hrs (excluding Express) before showering off the tinted guide colour to reveal your natural-looking tan. The developed colour will then last between 3 and 10 days depending on which product was used and how the tan is maintained.
Can I put another layer of fake tan on the next day?
We generally recommend sticking to the one self tanning product per application. If you do not find the colour to be as dark as you would expect, you can always apply a second coat 30-60 minutes after initial application or the following day if the developed colour is not to your desired colour depth.
Should you moisturise after fake tanning?
The answer is YES, but only after the self tan has fully developed. Our entire self tan range takes at least 8 hours to develop fully and reach their maximum glow level. Whether or not you have washed off the colour guide, we recommend not moisturising until 8 hours after the initial application.

Yes! Especially if you have fair skin that is prone to burning. Fake tan will not stop you getting a natural tan, it will simply act as an extra layer between your skin and the sun, and so the effects of the sun’s rays will not be as strong.
Does layering self-tanner make it darker?

Does St Tropez continue to develop after shower?
It does have a slight biscuit scent after 2-3 hours, but it disappear completely after showering.
