Can you use a married Cobb access port?
The installed state is just as important as whether or not the Accessport is the correct part number. If it is already installed (or “married”) to another vehicle, it will not work on your vehicle.

Can you Unmarry a Cobb Accessport without the car?
Registered. Cobb can unmarry your accessport for about $300, you need to ship the accessport back and they will reset the AP so it can be married to another car. However, this leaves a car with a “locked” ECU that cannot be read out by or re-written SSM or ECUflash.
Does Cobb have a burble tune?
This is an option to get a burble tune created for any Cobb Off The Shelf (OTS) map. We will create a new separate tune with this featured added that you can flash and use. The burble effect is simply some pops or exhaust crackle between shifts or when coasting in gear above 3200 rpms.
Is a Cobb tune worth it?
Your best bet is to get the car protuned to safely extract every bit of power. Unless you go open source, the cobb accessport is REQUIRED when getting protuned. So yes cobb accessport is worth it, especially the V3 accessports.
