Are Alexrims tubeless Ready?
Many of our rims offer our TRS (Tubeless Ready System) technology. Simply install any tubeless compatible tire, rim strip, valve and sealant system for a complete tubeless solution. ALEX CSW technology is a precision CNC machined smooth sidewall to provide ultimate braking efficiency.
Where are Alex rims made?
The company mixes its own aluminum alloys and does its own extrusions and wheel building in its factory in Tainan. All of its aftermarket products are made there; the company also has some OE rims made in China.
How do I know if my wheels are tubeless ready?
A tubeless ready rim will have a sidewall with a hooked design, which helps catch and hold the bead. Older rims will appear rounded without a hook shape. The shape of the rim will force the bead up snug against the outer hook, and will have a deep section in the middle to make it easier to remove.

Can I convert my wheels to tubeless?
While many new mountain bike wheels ship as “tubeless ready”, you can actually convert your existing wheels to a tubeless system. I recently made the switch to tubeless with a kit made by Orange Seal. This includes the rim strips, valves, and sealant. Make sure you get rim strips with the correct width for your rims.
Where are Sun Ringle rims made?
In the 1990s, Sun expanded production facilities in Indiana for high-end alloy rims and built manufacturing plants in China to provide products for the growing Asian bicycle manufacturing industry.
Are Duroc rims good?
The Sun Ringlé Duroc SD37 Pro wheels are a great riding wheelset with durable rims and notably easy tubeless setup. The minor issue I had with the freehub body is disconcerting but hasn’t caused any real problems on trail, so it’s a bit hard to know what to make of it.

How much does a 29er sealer cost?

How much sealant should I use? For a XC 29er tire (2.0-2.2”) we recommend 3-4 ounces (89-118ml) of sealant as a starting point. The amount of sealant can be adjusted based on the volume of the tire. More sealant can also be added if a tire is particularly porous and difficult to seal.
Are Sunringle rims any good?

Can a tubeless tyre burst?
While driving at high speeds, a tubed tyre will have friction within itself. This increases the tube temperature and there can even be chances of the tube exploding. A tyre/tube explosion at high speeds calls for disaster. Tubeless tyres do not pose this risk.
How long does tubeless sealant last?
2-6 months
The sealant should last an average of 2-6 months depending on factors such as: temperatures and humidity in your area, how often you ride, where you store your bike (cooler is better), tire casing thickness, number of punctures the sealant has already sealed that you never knew you had, etc.
