What is PLAK mounting?
Plak-It® mounts are an affordable alternative to traditional framing, designed to enhance the look of your print, and permanently protects them from fading and scratches.
How does PLAK it work?
Your print is dry-mounted onto a 1/8” Masonite board. The surface of the plaque is then completely sealed under heat and pressure with a tough, durable, transparent, non-glare laminate. Mounting in this way protects the image from fading and scratching, plus makes it easy to clean.
How do you hang PLAK on the wall?
Pressing the plaq against the wall, slide it to center of slot. If the plaq has two slots, (and before you drill the holes be sure the two spots are level) engage one screw into one slot, then slide the plaq back past the other screw to engage the other screw, then reverse the direction to center the plaq on the pair.
What is a PLAK poster?

Can you frame a plaque?

What is tooth plaque?

These acids can destroy tooth enamel and cause cavities and gingivitis (gum disease). Plaque can also develop under the gums on tooth roots and break down the bones that support teeth.
What is metal plaque?
Cast plaques are created by pouring molten metal into a mold. Once the metal cools, it solidifies into a solid plaque. Cast plaques typically have raised lettering and graphics which protrude from the plaque by about 3/32″, which is more substantial than raised areas on an etched plaque.

How do you stick poster to MDF?
Once you’ve got your MDF plaque cut, you can attach your poster with double-sided adhesive paper or spray on adhesive. Double-sided adhesive paper will be easier, but posters attached with spray adhesive will last longer and have a more professional appearance.
How do you hang heavy plaque?
A simple screw or nail inserted into the wall should hold most plaques weighing five pounds or less. An anchor may be needed for plaster walls. Some larger plaques will have multiple keyhole slots. Use an anchor for plaster walls, and choose thick, wide screws that are capable of holding a lot of weight.

Can I decoupage a poster?

Can I decoupage a poster onto wood?
Apply a thin layer of decoupage to the top of the poster, covering all of the paper and the area directly surrounding the poster to about 1 inch. If needed, continue the decoupage down the sides of your piece of wood. Allow to dry.
How much does a metal plaque cost?
