El Dorado Lake is particularly unique in that Zebra Mussels are found within the lake, and so all campers and visitors are advised to not swim barefooted in the lake. Aquatic footwear is recommended. If you don’t fancy swimming, you may just sit on the sandy beach and take in the view.
