What is happening to Inverloch beach?
Since 2012, 33.5 metres of the town’s surf beach has been lost to erosion, placing infrastructure at risk. In that time, the Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club has lost two life saving towers after the ground eroded under them. It now uses a mobile tower on a sled which can be moved when threatened by erosion.
