Caldicot is friendly, welcoming and caring. Over the years it has grown into a small town, but I still think of it as a village. It was quite compact when we first came here. It has expanded a lot; people have moved into the area and it has become a lot more cosmopolitan, but, for me, it retains its village atmosphere.
