- This will take you to the Campus Single Sign on page.
- Enter you CSULB Email Address.
- Then, enter your password.
- Next, click on “Sign In” to access your student center.

In its current version, BeachBoard is a commercial LMS that has been adopted at academic institutions worldwide where it is known under the corporate brand BlackBoard.

About Classlist Users who are currently logged into your BeachBoard appear with a green dot beside their names. The Classlist tool is also a central area for managing information about users.
How do I activate my MyCSULB account?
Once you receive your offer of admission, you can follow these instructions to activate your student account:
- Go to the CSULB Password Utility and select Next.
- Then, enter your new CSULB email address (found in your admission email) and follow the instructions to set the password for your account.
Can teachers track you on blackboard?
Yes. Blackboard leverages Respondus Monitor and LockDown Browser to prevent and detect cheating during online exams and SafeAssign plagiarism checker to identify plagiarized content. Respondus Monitors accesses the computer’s webcam and microphone to record the exam environment while recording the computer screen.

How do I drop out of Csulb?
To request a withdrawal, you will need to:
- Complete the online withdrawal request to withdraw from one or more classes.
- Provide a serious and compelling reason on your request form.
- Continue attending class until your request is approved.
- If your request is approved, you will receive a W on your transcript.
How do I decline a Csulb offer?
I received an offer of admission, but have not formally accepted or declined the offer:
- Log in to MyCSULB Student Center.
- Select the “Accept/Decline” link in the Admissions section.
- Select the “Next” button to proceed to decline your offer of admission.
- Select the “Decline” button.
Does Csueb use canvas?
CSUEB CANVAS MIGRATION Our campus is adopting Canvas by Instructure as our new Learning Management System (LMS).
How many units can you take at Csueb?
Students may register for a combined maximum of 18 units of classes plus waiting list during their assigned enrollment period for a regular semester (the limit is 13 units for Summer Session, and 4 units for Winter Intersession).

No. Blackboard requests permission from student computers before they can access their cameras and microphones during tests.
Can teachers see if you switch tabs on Blackboard?
Can Blackboard tell if you switch tabs? Blackboard cannot tell if you switch tabs if you have opened it on a normal browser. It can only detect if you are working on a proctored test or using a lockdown browser.
