How do you skip the Ruin Sentinels?
It’s been long known that you can skip the Ruin Sentinels by beating the Pursuer, entering the Bastille from the Tower Apart bonfire and grabbing the Antiquated Key.
What are primal bonfires?
Primal Bonfires are special Bonfires which are found after defeating one of the four bosses holding Great Souls. It cannot be used to rest on, instead it will teleport the player back to the Far Fire Bonfire in Majula when used.
What do I do with the antiquated key?
This key can be used to open up a shortcut bypassing the Ruin Sentinels boss fight. From the Exile Holding Cells bonfire, go through the Bastille ramparts, and head down to the main grounds. Look for a boarded up doorway and smash through it.
What doors does the Bastille key open?

- Opens the door to Blacksmith McDuff at The Lost Bastille.
- Opens the cell beside the Straid’s Cell bonfire.
- Opens a cell and two gates on the upper floor of the flooded prison in Sinner’s Rise.
- Opens the two doors besides The Lost Sinner’s boss room in Sinner’s Rise.
What does Soldier Key Open ds2?
The Soldier’s Key can be used to open many of the doors in The Forest Of Fallen Giants including; the door up the staircase from the main bonfire, the door down the ladder from the bonfire, over the bridge, and the door in the room next to the bridge room.

Curse Stab The Pursuer’s Blade glows blue and he lunges the sword at the player, if it connects, the player will be in an animation where they are impaled on his sword and the player will then be cursed. This attack cannot be blocked.

The pursuer is vulnerable to lightning attacks such as lightning spear and weapons buffed with Gold Pine Resin. Pursuer also has a move which releases homing dark magic which can inflict Curse.
