How does the Hemochron Signature Elite work?
The HEMOCHRON Signature Elite instrument is a hand-held device. It contains a test chamber which warms a test cuvette to the required temperature, and it performs all operations to measure the clotting time of a whole blood sample after it is placed in the test cuvette and the test is started by the operator.

How long are cuvettes good for?
Cuvettes are good until the printed expiration date as long as they are kept in the refrigerator. The cuvettes must be kept at room temperature for 60 minutes prior to testing. At room temperature, an unopened pouch is good for 12 weeks.
