What is a streak end?
If you snap your friend and within 24 hours that friend doesn’t snap you back, well, then you’ve lost your streak. You’ll know your Snapstreak is about to end when you see an hourglass emoji next to the friend’s name you are on the streak with.
How do you continue a streak?
To keep a Snapstreak going, both Snapchatters must send a Snap (not Chat) back and forth to each other within a 24 hour window. How do I know if my Snapstreak is going to end soon? You’ll see a βοΈ next to a friend’s name if your Snapstreak with them is about to expire.
How do you stop a streak from ending?
You can’t. The whole point of streaks is to send snaps back and forth. If you don’t send anything, the streak will end. You can’t do streaks with anything else (chats, etc).
How long can streaks last?
That window isn’t necessarily from midnight to midnightβit’s 24 hours from when the first Snapchat in the streak was sent and so on. So if the Snapchat that kicks off the streak was sent at 2 p.m. one day, the users have until 24 hours later to return it to keep the streak.
