Can you reuse motorcycle exhaust gaskets?
It isn’t much, but with new gaskets they crush down to seal. Reusing the old ones, you may have to increase the torque a little to get them to seal. That’s why it isn’t a good idea to reuse them. If you have to reuse them, I would recommend a thin coating of copper high temp silicone and using the standard torque spec.

Should be no problem at all. Just torque them up to 18ft/lbs and start from the middle and work outwards. I’ve had my headers on an off about 20 times and still have the stock gaskets with no leaks. Just check the torque settings after about 10 heat cycles and you should be good to go.
