What are Animal Jam Beta days?
The “Beta Days” are an interesting time of Animal Jam’s history – there are many rumors and truths that are often hard to tell apart. It was a (beta) testing period for the game with many glitches, few players and while there was no membership, there were none of the benefits we associate with membership today.
When did the beta days end on Animal Jam?
Play Wild Beta (also called the Beta Stage, or in this case Beta Testing) was the first stage of the Animal Jam timeline. The stage began on December 18th, 2014 until it officially ended on May 13, 2015.

The open beta started later in the year sometime before July 2010 with the first public sign-in page appearing sometime around May 21, 2010. The open beta allowed anyone to test out the game without restriction until September 9, 2010, when the game was officially released.

– While viewing a Jammer’s Player Card, tap on the icon that has two circular arrows. – Choose an item you would like to trade for by tapping on it. – Pick the items you have that you would be willing to trade and follow the prompts.

The Wavy Bookshelf was originally released in the Beta Testing at Jam Mart Furniture during December 2014 and left stores in May 2015. It was re-released in June 2015 and left stores again in March 2016. It was given a “Rare!” Tag on January 5, 2022.

How do non members get rare?
Go to the stores, either the clothes shop or den shop (but mostly the clothing shop) and get rare items. Note that some rares are only for members – try trading for the member rare item Mondays, but do not over trade as they are still in stores – they will not become rarer until they are out of stores. Do fair trades.
Can non members have shops in Animal Jam?
Yes, the ‘My Shop’ Den item is only purchasable by Animal Jam Members. And only members will be able to purchase the items, no matter if the item in the shop is member or non-member. Was this article helpful?
